About the Founder

Race Director Insider was founded by Scott Olmsted, an endurance sports and event professional with years of experience working in cycling and community events.

Through his work in endurance sports and event production, Scott has seen firsthand the challenges race directors face—from securing sponsors and managing logistics to building community and sustaining events long-term.

Race Director Insider was created to bring together the ideas, knowledge, and community that race directors often have to search for across many different places.The goal is simple: give race directors a place to learn, share, and grow the events that bring people together.
